Why Write

Apr 11, 2023

PSP (Personal Software Process): A structured software development process designed to help software engineers better understand and improve their performance by bringing discipline to the way they develop software and tracking their predicted and actual development of the code.

Growing up, my life was boring: school, tennis, and video games. Now that I’ve founded a tech startup in college, nearly wrapped up iVenture Accelerator’s eight cohort, and learned some important life principles along the way, I’ve become interested in a lot of stuff.

Since I was introduced to startups in my freshman year of college, I wrote a bunch about the people I’ve met, the messages they shared, and my reflections that followed onto my computer. I ended up with principles on how to perform well, handle people, and drive change in myself and in others.

I don’t know what this site will turn into. It’s mostly a means to think more about what you do and why you do it. I’ve learned a great deal from the wonderful people and communities around me - writing it out makes you think about the concepts and test them further.

Whether it be to develop your sense of self or build a valuable product to people you care about, writing is a means to think, store, and share at scale. Welcome to my personal software process.
